The Power of the “I” Re-do/Not Yet Policy The GOAL of The Power of the “I” is to get all groups of students to meet course standards at an acceptable level. 

1.Students will receive an “I” on any assignment not turned in. One or more “I”s will result in an “I” grade for the grading period. 

2.Students no longer receive zeros when work isn’t turned in; they don’t have an option not to turn in work.

3. Students will not be assigned grades below a C; students are required to redo/revise work to get it at least to the C level.

4. Students that turn in late work will receive a 70% when completed.  All assignments must meet standards; incomplete work will not be accepted.

5. Students will be given extra help opportunities to complete their work during the school day and after school.

6. Students that are absent will have one day per day absent +1 more day to make up work without receiving an “I”.  (Ex. 2 days absent = 2 days + 1 to make-up work)

“B” is Better

“A” is an Absolutely Awesome Accomplishment
