to the 25 guests who made it out to the First ESL Family Night in the FCPS. Next year, we hope to extend it to every school in the county system. I really appreciate everyone who made it out to support Limited English Proficiency students at EMS and FCHS.

I really wish more of us could’ve met with the families of EMS and FCHS students from Ghana and Honduras. Also, at FC we had families come from Ukraine, India, and Mexico. Families had booths where they could learn about family literacy and learning English, they also had nutrition information from County Extension, students present competed in a logo making contest for the Multi-Cultural Coalition, and there was a presentation for the Multi-Cultural College Fair and Leadership Conferences.  

And there was so much wonderful food… Thanks again all those who braved the cold, snowy night!

(dessert, side, or any other category)

WE WANT TO ENSURE THAT WE HAVE ENOUGH FOOD FOR EVERYONE SO PLEASE RESPOND IN ADVANCE.

If there is no way that you can bring a dish on that night, please just bring yourself and your family.
