Our Winter Party is scheduled for Friday, December 19, from 1-2 p.m. Each child is asked to bring a $3-$5 book for a book exchange. Boys buy a book for a boy, and girls buy a book for a girl. Wrap and label your book from _____ to a boy or from _______ to a girl. Please try to have books in no later than Monday, December 15. Thanks!
Our Winter Break will begin Monday, December 22 and will last until Friday, January 2. Our first day back to school will be Monday, January 5. I hope that everyone has a wonderful break! I will see you in 2009!!!!

Our Field Trip to see the play If You Take a Mouse to the Movies is still on for this Friday, December 12. The play is at 12:00 at KSU. We will be eating lunch prior to leaving for KSU. The ELV will be sponsering a Canned Food Drive from October 21-27. All of the food that is collected will be used to help out families in Franklin County. Please help out in any way that you can! The class that brings in the most items will be rewarded with a prize/celebration!!!
Each class will be donating items to create a basket that will be auctioned off at the Fall Festival on November 1. Our class will be creating a Crayola themed basket. Items such as Crayola markers, crayons, colored pencils, clay, paints, craft kits, etc. would be great! If you are interested in donating an item for our basket, please send it to school by October 29th. Thanks!
