Just a friendly reminder that fall break is October 13 - 17, 2008.

How much:  $3 per child

Look for a permission slip coming home in the next week.  Please returen the permission slip, lunch request, and money by Wednesday, October 8, 2008. 

I apologize for the lack of homework posted on the Team Coyle site.  Homework does get posted every day it just doesn’t always make it to the site.  Many times the internet shuts down before the assignments actually get posted.

Grandparents Day will be September 10.  Please invite grandparents to have lunch with your child.  The menu for Grandparents Day will be baked chicken, mashed potatoes, roll, and a chocolate chip.  Adult lunch is $3.55.

REMINDER! Reservations for the Grandparents Day lunch (Sept. 10) need to be turned in TOMORROW, Friday, Aug. 29, so that the cafeteria staff can have an accurate count of how many guest there will be.

***Due to construction going on at the west end of the building involving an underground gas line, the intermediate wing was evacuated, as a precaution, at the end of the day today.  Officials from the gas company arrived and made sure that the building was safe.  The disruption necessitated a change in the dismissal procedures as well.

PTA will have their general meeting Monday, August 25 in the Cafeteria starting at 6:30.  Please join PTA!!!!!

High attendace day will be September 10th.  We are competing for the highest attendace average in the state of Kentucky!  There will be incentives given to your child to encourage them to be at school.  When a child is not at school they are missing valiable instruction.  Please help us to have the highest attendace average in KY!! 

I am so glad everyone was able to enjoy a night of food and fun!  Please check with your homeroom teacher if you are missing anything from your yellow folder or if you were not able to attend.  Also, please let her know if you need any other forms in spanish.
