Don’t Forget- Louisville Zoo field trip on Monday. If you are driving your child please know that we are leaving at 8:30!! We will be returning around 2:00. Remember to wear comfortable shoes, appropriate for walking and comfortable clothes. Watch the weather and be prepared in case of rain or chilly conditions.
Your child may shop at the gift shop, but they are responsible for keeping up with their own money.
Also, please remember not to pack food that will spoil without being refrigerated because we will all be eating with our groups and not be eating together, so we are not taking a cooler for everyone’s food and drinks.
No School Tuesday (Primary Elections) Don’t forget to vote!!!
Field Day is Friday, wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

We had a great time at Farm Field Day this week. The students really enjoyed getting to know agricultural life.
Please remember to send in $5.00 ASAP for the Louisville Zoo field trip that is on Thursday, May 15th. Also, a BIG THANKS to all of the parents that are able to attend and drive. It will be really helpful to us because of the cost of fuel.
Monday, May 12th we will be going to the Thoughrobred Theater in Midway to watch Water Horse for CATS reward.
Remember that there is no school on Tuesday, May 20th and Monday, May 26th.
Please return the signed behavior sheet that went home today. We have been having some trouble the last week with students not following directions, unkindness toward, fighting, and stealing. Please stress to your child the importance of good behavior to finish a great year on a positive note.
Thanks for your cooperation.

We read the 1st two chapters of Hatchet today. The students seemed to really enjoy it! Please talk with your children about what they are reading, this is helpful for comprehension. We will be having a quiz after every two chapters that we read.
Students wrote their spelling lists in their planners this week. There will be no bonus words this week.
