Today is writing day and club day. The assignment for all math classes is the Chapter 7 review on page 326. The odds are required and the evens are extra credit.
Yesterday was Health Fair and there was not work assigned.
1st, 2nd and 4th worked on section 7-7.
3rd workede on 7-6 more.
I know it’s early release and it was last minute but you still need to work hard and succeed. I will have a sub Feb. 21 because I will be at a PD about using a green screen like newscast use. This podcast tells you what I want you to do.
Today we went over chapter seven section six. Homework is page 317- 318 problems 8 - 38 even.
Today we worked on Chapter Seven section five. Homework is page 314- 315 # 8- 38 evens only.
Today we reviewed 7-1 and 7-2 using the worksheets from the workbooks.
No school Thursday or Friday.
The field trip this Saturday is canceled due to student illness and school being canceled.
We’ll have a trip planned for March.
Today we worked on Rates like miles per hour or cost per pound. All you have to do to find the unit rate is write the rate as a fraction then divide the denominator and the numerator by what ever number the denominator is.
120 miles/ 3hours = 40 miles/ 1hour

Today we started Ch. Seven. We worked on ratios. Many of the problems require students to change customary units (Ch. 6 section 7) There is a table on the back cover of the book that will help. By the way, there are 52 weeks in a year people! So many people asked me that today!
Homework page 290-291 #8-30 even.
Wells and I have some sort of sinus problem and we both sound terrible! He sounds worse than me of course! Ha!
First and second hour finished going over Ch. 1-5 review and made corrections.
Third and forth worked an open response question about fencing in a playground. This problem used circumference and perimeter.
